$77.011 - $99.369 - $121.726The stated pay scale reflects the range that Sharp reasonably expects to pay for this position. What You Will Do
To provide effective management of operations for the hospital and administration during regular and non-regular business hours.
Required Qualifications
- 3 Years recent clinical experience.
- California Registered Nurse (RN) - CA Board of Registered Nursing
- AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional (AHA BLS Healthcare) - American Heart Association
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Two (2) years leadership experience.
- Prior house supervision/manager experience
- ACLS Certification (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - American Heart Association

Delivers/completes/contributes to delivery of quality, cost effective patient care per guidelines, standards, or care per facility outlines by knowing and understanding specific staff/unit capabilities to ensure correct delegation; and/or assisting with direct patient care by demonstrating clinical competence in area of practice assigned as per guidelines indicated at individual facilities (GH: PICC redressing; SMV: unlisted; SCOR: Pharmacy, Set up and assist labor and delivery; SCVMC: Pharmacy; SMH: PICC redressing, Trauma Assist, ADT unit).

Ensures that appropriate nursing intervention is selected to achieve identified patient care outcomes; and/or
Support Clinical patient care activities and other work of the department to achieve efficient and effective outcomes; and/or

Customers and Peers report interaction with Administrative Liaison is effective in moving toward problem resolution. The Administrative Liaison also facilitates patient movement priority of placement per policy and established guidelines; and/or in absence of manager, addresses staff, patient or family complaints; and/or assumes leadership, facilitates and provides direction in rapidly changing workload and in crisis situations (e.g. HEICS, Codes, Traumas, Crises situations); and/or collaborates and serves as resource to other disciplines/departments.

Understands Section 5150/5170 of the Welfare and Institutions Code.
Evaluates patients for 72 hour/5150 detention criteria.
Initiates 5150 involuntary detentions for evaluation and treatment of select patients.
Advises patients both verbally and written of their rights and reasons for being detained on a 5150/72 hour hold.
Assesses patients for 14-day certification criteria when consulting psychiatrist is unable to assess patient; thereby has authority to sign 14-day certification form as the second evaluator. - Staffing

Trends and reports identified staffing patterns problems to managers; and/or
Identifies barriers to efficient staffing planning and acts to improve outcomes; and/or
Contributes to utilization of resources in cost-effective manner.
