HYBRID ELIGIBILITY

This position works a hybrid schedule, spending time remotely and in the office in Minot, ND. The current hybrid schedule provides flexibility to collaborate in the office Tuesdays through Thursdays and work from home Mondays and Fridays. With our 9/80 feature you get time off every other Friday when you work at least 80 hours over the preceding nine days.

POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for the overseeing recruitment efforts for Hess's Job Experience Training (JET) Apprenticeship Program and ensuring the program's compliance with the Department of Labor certification requirements. Working alongside the CAT Supervisor, the individual in this role ensures applicants and candidates are receive support throughout the duration of their apprenticeship program.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Community Engagement

  • Establish and maintain relationships with military bases, technical colleges, high schools, and other community programs to identify and attract talent.
  • Organize and manage Hess representation at career fairs, schools & educational events, and military engagements.
  • Proactively seek opportunities to engage with potential candidates and build community awareness of careers in Oil and Gas.

Program Management

  • Supports the CAT Supervisor in managing candidate records, onboarding, and guiding apprentices through each stage of the program.
  • Facilitate committee meetings for the Hess Working and Learning Scholarship fund.
  • Collaborates with Hess leadership and field personnel by participating in ride-alongs and job shadowing to gain insight into daily responsibilities and key skills required for successful candidates.
  • Other tasks and duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience

  • 1-2 years trade experience in oil and gas operations, preferred.

Education, Training & Certifications

  • High school diploma, or equivalent.
  • 4-year degree or equivalent certification in Human Resources or similar program, preferred.
