Associate Director, Talent Analytics

Job Overview

We are looking for an innovative and entrepreneurial Associate Director of Talent Analytics to design, lead and execute all aspects of analytics and reporting for Human Resources. The individual will have a key role in developing the strategic vision and operations for Talent Analytics and Workforce Management function. This role will conduct ongoing analysis, interpretations, and identify key insights in our data that provide actionable measures that drive talent strategy. This individual will be tasked with implementing data governance practices and reporting capabilities that provide relevant metrics and understanding about our people which contributes and to firm success. The ideal candidate is a strategic, hands on, analytical builder who has a passion for data and likes to work across cross functional departments.

Responsibilities

  • Drive data informed people decisions and mindset across the firm. Educate and empower the Human Resources team with advanced analytics methods and insight on topics such as retention, engagement, performance management, talent acquisition, succession planning and DE&I.
  • Build, maintain and own the delivery of quarterly people analytics reporting and dashboards. Communicate the findings on a regular basis to senior management.
  • Partner with talent acquisition, talent development, Human Resource business partners and finance to establish and drive our strategic workforce planning process. Own the data linkage between the workforce planning process to the budget and forecast.
  • Provide research using a broad set of analytical tools (Culture Amp, Excel, Workday etc.) and techniques to identify actionable data-driven insight and communicate to senior management business recommendations that support the firm’s talent objective and mission.
  • Develop and own our data governance model. Identify any data discrepancies and oversee data hygiene for people analytics to ensure accuracy and clean data.
  • Play a key role in managing data related to compliance and regulatory processes.
  • Manage responses to client inquiries related to Human Resources. Perform ad hoc analytical reporting as needed.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Proficient with market standard data analytics & reporting tools- excel, SQL, Macro’s, Python etc.
  • Advanced Data Analytics Skills - Experience with creating insight with large data sets
  • Experience creating automated reporting and dashboards for senior management
  • Experience analyzing complex people data (headcount, attrition, recruiting metrics, diversity, performance management etc.)
  • Experience working with Workday and Culture Amp
  • Comfort with ambiguity and ability to work in a self- guided manner
  • Familiarity with data architecture fundamentals and data warehousing
  • Ability to collaborate with cross functional teams and levels
  • Ability to effectively communicate outputs of data analysis and provide insights to a broad audience (written and verbal)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills
  • Entrepreneurial spirit (likes to build and create)
  • Team player
