Schneider is seeking a Claims Adjuster in Green Bay to investigate, analyze and resolve claims and incidents. The Claims Adjuster will negotiate claims involving property, injuries, freight, workers compensation and subrogation.
Responsibilities:
- Manage initial and ongoing field investigations.
- Secure all necessary information to properly evaluate claims made against Schneider.
- Act as the single point of contact for all parties involved in managing a claim.
- Review claims for negligence, liability exposure, damages, subrogation potential, fraud and more.
- Ensure actions and strategies are executed that will provide the best overall outcome for the organization.
- Work with the Counsel in cases where legal actions have been initiated by or against Schneider.
- Attend hearings, trials, mediations and settlement meetings as a corporate representative.
- Accurately document all claims activities.
Skills and qualifications:
- Associate degree or paralegal certificate.
- 2-4 years of relevant work experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Outstanding problem-solving skills.
