Critical Incident Clinician - Riverside Trauma Center
Exciting opportunity to join Riverside Community Care as a Critical Incident Clinician in our Behavioral Health Innovation division! Riverside Trauma Center offers support services, consultation and training, including on-site critical incident response, grief counseling, suicide postvention and referrals to help people after critical incidents.
Under the direction of the Director of the Trauma Center, the Criticial Incident Clinician will continue to build best practices for suicide prevention and postvention response work and develop trainings for people who respond to tragic events.
The clinician in this role will provide suicide postvention consulting and behavioral health disaster responses to schools, workplaces, and communities in Massachusetts as well as virtual or telephonic consultation to other schools using the SOS-Signs of Suicide curriculum nationally, using both suicide prevention and trauma-informed care strategies. Clinical interventions include both one-to-one, group, and community meeting formats. The clinician in this role will develop and conduct trainings for behavioral health disaster responders, mental health clinicians, educators, employees of state agencies, and community volunteers on the topics of suicide prevention, trauma treatment, resilience and trauma informed care.
Schedule: Full Time, 40 hours
Pay Rate: $77,521.60/salaried

Required Skills
- Experience working in a compassionate manner with individuals who have experienced highly stressful events/ situations required
- Expertise or cultural humility in working with diverse cultural, racial, gender groups preferred. Ability to speak a second language that would help meet the needs of populations in Massachusetts would be helpful.
- Comfort and demonstrated experience in training and presenting to larger audiences required
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle required
Required Experience
- Masters Degree in psychology, social work or human services related field required (such as MSW, Counseling, Psychology). Independent license preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years in the field required
