Job Summary
Plans and executes multiple small to medium capital projects for the site. Manages all aspects of scope development, cost estimates, and schedule by collaborating with the Engineering team as well as with key project stakeholders. This position supports a single site and requires minimal travel for FATs/vendor visits, training/benchmarking, etc.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Enforces site safety, environmental, and GMP rules and regulations
- Ensures that work is accomplished in a safe and efficient manner
- Manages a range of small to medium capital projects, often with overlapping timelines
- Leads cross-functional project teams consisting of internal/external engineers, operations/maintenance personnel, equipment vendors, contractors, etc.
- Ensures that all project planning, deliverables, reporting, and spending forecasts are managed accurately and that all projects are delivered within cost, schedule, and performance success criteria
- Interacts frequently with Plant Leadership and project stakeholders
- Interacts frequently with external project resources, including equipment vendors, construction contractors, engineering service providers, and local/state/federal government agencies
- Supports execution of the Conagra Performance System (CPS) through active participation on the site's Early Management (EM) Pillar Team
- Ability to flex work hours, including to provide off-hours/weekend project support as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (BS) in Engineering or a related technical field required
- 3-5 years of demonstrated engineering/project management experience required
- Proven track record of managing several capital projects and progression through multiple roles in the food or pharmaceutical industry desired
- Working knowledge of equipment and process technologies employed within the food industry required
- Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (FDA, USDA, PSM, etc.) desired
- Formal project management training and/or certification(s) desired
- Ability to communicate effectively with individuals both inside and outside of an organization
- Ability to speak effectively before outside groups or employees of an organization
- Ability to apply engineering principles to solve complex problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Ability to proactively manage and resolve conflict
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, blueprints, electrical schematics, piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and equipment manuals
- Must be proficient in usage of standard computer programs for daily tasks

The employee is occasionally required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, and feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; taste and smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. The employee will be exposed to a noisy environment at widely varying temperatures. Compensation:
Pay Range:$79,000-$115,000The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee's actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees' equity.Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
