Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is looking for a Principal Project Manager, Air Vehicle Spares to join the F-35 Product Support team. This position will be based in El Segundo, CA.

Oversees and manages the operational aspects of F35 Air Vehicle (AV) Spares. Serving as liaison between Program Management, Project Planning, Global Supply Chain, Engineering and Customers. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses Program issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with Program Managers, Internal & External Teammates and Customer
Responsibilities:
• Liaise with peers leads, and managers both internally and externally to NGC to formulate objectives to carry out program requirements with some Management oversight
• Monitor the status and collaborate with GSC to ensure spare deliveries meet contractual requirements
• Work with the team to create and support lines of Balance (LOBs) to support Production, Sustainment and Customer needs
• Help strategize and prepare Request for Proposal (RFP) for F-35 AC Spares
• Monitor AV Spare requirements to resolve issues
• Prepare charts and participate in Program PMRs, EPMRs, PMMs and PRRs
• Identify Risks and Opportunities and develop mitigation plans
Basic Qualifications for Principal Project Manager:
• Bachelors Degree w/ 6 years' experience OR Masters Degree w/ 4 years' experience.
• Knowledgeable in the use of SAP in a Post-Production Environment.
• Knowledgeable in reading and understanding engineering drawings and requirements.
• Experience in communicating program requirements to suppliers.
• Show proficiency with MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Project...etc.)
• Must have the ability to obtain and a maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelors or Masters in Project Management, Logistics Management, or Engineering.
• PMP Certification.
• Active Secret Clearance.
Salary Range: $88,700 - $133,100
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
