The HVAC / Building Automation Field Service Technician II performs preventive maintenanceandprovides technical supportorbasictroubleshootingto Honeywell customers.These customers will have various products installed that fall into the - HVAC, automation controls,life safety, fire, and security systems categoriesas well as their associated computer systems. The goal is to ensure system up-time andefficiency.
Job Duties:
- Performpreventative maintenanceand escalate issues found accordingly
- Verify system functionality to ensure proper operation
- Promote, build,andmaintaingood customer relationships while keeping supervisor informed of system status and actual/potentialcustomer issues
- Complete requireddocumentationfor work performed or other contractual obligations
- Proper use ofsafetypersonal protection equipment
- Security and other clearances as required by customer
The salary range for this position is $44,200. - $55,200. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Technical aptitude and/ortraining
- Can identify/use trade tools appropriately
- Ability to work independently up to 25% of the time
- Some knowledge of basic electrical, fire system, sensors, or robotics principals
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to travel throughout the service area, with occasional overnight stays
- Valid Driver's Licenseanddrivingrecord acceptable to Honeywell
