Full Job Description
The Richmond Times-Dispatch in Richmond, Virginia, is offering a paid, 10-week internship program for journalism students in summer 2025.
Opportunities are available for students specializing in news reporting, sports journalism, visual journalism and editing.
As an intern, you'll be based in our newsroom and collaborate with editors and journalists on a variety of assignments. We're looking for highly motivated and passionate journalists looking to build their skills.
Applications are accepted from students in degree-seeking programs who have journalism experience. At least one previous internship or comparable work at a college news outlet is preferred.
The Times-Dispatch covers one of America's most dynamic cities. We're home to Virginia's state capital, a thriving foodie scene and a beautiful riverfront. Best of all, there are countless storytelling opportunities for a hungry journalist.
