Job Description:
Apex has an immediate and fast-moving need for multipleRemote Data Developers with SAP Data Services and Data Migration skills. These developers should have strong technical knowledge of Data Migration, Extract, Transformation and Load (ETL) process.Job Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of data migration solutions, including data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
- Analyze source data structures, mappings, and dependencies, and develop data migration strategies and plans.
- Develop and execute complex data migration scripts, queries, and workflows to transfer data from source to target systems.
- Coordinate with data stakeholders, business users, and technical teams to validate data migration requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Monitor data migration processes, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis to resolve data migration errors and discrepancies.
- Document data migration strategies, processes, and workflows, and maintain documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior data migration developers, mentoring and coaching team members as needed.
- Contribute to process improvements and best practices for data migration, identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency gains.
Skills
- Proficiency in SQL for data querying, manipulation, and scripting.
- Experience with ETL tools and platforms
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- SAP Data Service (BODS)
- SAP Technical Field Mapping Knowledge
- Data Quality Tool knowledge
- SQL Knowledge
