Summary of Role:
The Life Insurance Specialist (Coordinator) will assist with the implementation of new life insurance policy purchases for executive clients such as COLI, BOLI, 162a Bonus, 1035 Exchange plans. This role focuses on administration and operations for the servicing team. Duties include determining appropriate life insurance application forms, preparation of forms, coordination of medical underwriting requirements and direct correspondence with clients, insurance brokers and insurance companies to complete all phases of the life insurance purchase.
This is an entry-level/early-career level role and is ideal if you have some office processing, administrative or coordination experience; we will train on life insurance products. You should have great verbal and written communication skills and organizational and fact-checking abilities.
This is a full-time position working from our Warrington, PA office. We are flexible in offering a hybrid schedule approx. 2 days a week in the office (this could fluctuate as needed and maybe more days in-office during training) and other days from home.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that policies are implemented in a timely, accurate, and professional manner.
- Ability to understand nonqualified benefit plans and and the basics of investments.
- Administration will include change of broker, surrender, owner and beneficiary changes.
- Meet broker dealer compliance requirements.
- Able to support others as needed
- Must be able to work from our Warrington, PA office weekly; hybrid schedule offered
Experience/Skills
- Experience with office processing, operations, or administration is ideal. Experience with Life insurance is preferred.
- Must have demonstrated strong organizational skills and takes the initiative on follow through
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite, with basic MS Excel fluency
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- Analytical, apply critical thinking and and problem-solving skills
- Exhibit a high degree of self-motivation and direction. Able to pivot quickly on changing priorities
- Ability to foster a strong sense of cooperation and teamwork throughout the organization
Education/Credentials
- Life and Health License preferred or able to obtain within 90 days of hire
- Bachelor's Degree or advanced training/education preferred
- HS Diploma or equivalent is required
