The Tactical Fighters Business Unit is seeking a Manager Contract Admin 3 to support the BU Director, Contracts on a variety of Contracts within the F-35 Production & Development Organization Unit (OU) portfolio. Candidates must have a minimum Secret clearance. Manager will report directly to the Director of Contracts for the Tactical Fighters Business Unit in support of several Production and Development programs. This position is based in Linthicum, MD and you are expected to work onsite not less than 4 days per week.
What You Will Get To Do:
As the Contracts Manager of the F-35 Production & Development OU, you will be responsible for:
• Leading your team in the preparation, administration, negotiation, and closeout of standard and non-standard contracts.
• Assisting your team to prepare and negotiate proposals and manage contract changes to achieve target profit rates and favorable terms and conditions to assist in meeting profit and cash goals.
• Providing regular internal and external customer support to provide for proper contract acquisition in accordance with company policies and procedures, legal requirements, and customer specifications.
• Acting as an advisor to subordinate supervisors or staff members to meet schedules and resolve technical or operational problems.
• Directly participating in the establishment and administration of many centralized functional projects.
• Development of overall objectives, strategy and long-range goals of the organization.
• Solving complex problems by actively seeing information and new ideas from a variety of sources.
Responsibilities will include activities such as:
• Providing reviews and summaries of program and performance requirements and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Helping to prepare bids and other reports for on-time customer submittal
• Advising program management and upper management of contractual rights and obligations
• Compiling and analyzing data
• Maintaining historical contract and program performance information.
• Leading, managing, and developing a team by providing guidance based on organizational goals and company policy.
• Leading your team towards program success by providing objective-oriented direction in accordance with management guidelines & overall practices and procedures.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution with 10+ years of relevant experience or Master's Degree with 8+ years of relevant experience in contract administration/management. We will also consider 14 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Working knowledge of FAR/DFARS
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management
• Knowledge and proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite of Applications
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
• Knowledge of ability to use SAP
• Proven leadership skills, interpersonal skills, and ability to mentor and train assigned staff
• Proposal development and negotiation skills and the ability to build strong customer relations
• Active U.S Government Secret Security Clearance

Salary Range: $147,500 - $221,300
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
