About the Team
Looking fora technical trainer with a great go-getter personality tojoin our team. They are responsible for training internal employees on technical applications via facilitating in-person and virtual workshops as well as content creation (including videos, presentations, training guides, etc).
- Program they use is Articulate Rise (its a content creation and management system). Web-based trainings
Weare looking for ago-getter, self-starter, someone who is proactive and willing to help. They do not want someone who sits around and does the bare minimum. Someone whos willing to ask questions and get their hands dirty. Someone eager to get in and actually train.
This person will have ideally have worked in an agile training environment where they had to learn a dynamic software program that was constantly changing, and they know how to adapt to that.
Day-to-Day
The environment is constantly shifting, so ideal candidate needs to handle changes in direction well. This candidate has to be scrappy, a self-starter, and not expect someone to just give them a framework or script to work off of. Even the trainers will need to be able keep a pulse on the changes of technicaltools, understand the user experience, (rare occasions could) trouble shoot issues with the actual tool or virtual learning environment, facilitate in-person and virtual trainings, and even roll up their sleeves and build a multipage instruction document, or multi-slide presentation deck. They expect a healthy balance of content creation, facilitation/training,understanding user/learner needs, and instructional design.
