Job Description
At BAE Systems, we meet our customer's needs through the entire lifecycle of our Electronic Warfare (EW) products. From design and development to prototype and full rate production, to post-delivery product support, we deliver EW capability and readiness spanning the platform's entire operational service life.

Our F-35 Joint Strike Fighter Product Support team is seeking an experienced program manager to lead our F-35 Performance Based Logistics (PBL) program. As the PBL program manager you will be delivering EW system availability and affordability across the entire worldwide fleet of 1,000+ aircraft by optimizing fleet demands and driving efficient and effective returns and repairs in our Merrimack, NH sustainment center and with our government partners at the depot in Robins AFB, GA.

This position will report directly to the F-35 Lifecycle Product Support Director within the F-35 Solutions Product Line. There may be an opportunity for a hybrid schedule in the future, but for the foreseeable future this will be a full-time, onsite role based in Merrimack, NH (MER24 and MNH25).

This is a dynamic program management opportunity to lead major cornerstone program in the portfolio. Important elements for this position include: performance based / outcome based execution; product sustainment principles; customer engagement; strategy and planning; senior leader engagement; delivery on customer commitments; delivery on financial commitments; predictive analytics; leading a geographically dispersed team; direct supervisor responsibilities; team development and growth; being a key member of the F-35 Lifecycle Product Support leadership team.

F-35 Lifecycle Product Support covers a wide range of efforts to include Hardware and Software Sustainment, Field Mod Support, Depot Activation, Returns & Repairs Management, Integration Line infrastructure support and customer Reprogramming Labs.

Sustainment / Product Support experience is highly desired but not required.

In this job, you will:
  • Take responsibility for management and execution of a contract.
  • Prepare and/or review project execution plans and other documentation.
  • Be intimately involved in budget/financial planning and reporting.
  • Report status to product line and senior leadership.
  • Develop customer relationships with regular communication.
  • Drive program/contract success by delivering on our commitments in accordance with the expected behaviors, processes and guidance
  • Actively promote a culture of inclusivity, safety, health, and personal well-being for the program team.


Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Demonstrated program/project management skills

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Demonstrated leadership skills (strategic thinking, business acumen, supervisory experience, building teams, building customer relationships)
  • Familiarity with electronic warfare systems sustainment, depot repair and performance based logistics contracts
  • Program Management Professional (PMP) Certification
  • Significant experience with customer/stakeholder communication, management, relationship building, and customer satisfaction
  • Demonstrated mastery of Program Management, Life-Cycle Management and Risk & Opportunity Management
  • Ability to negotiate effectively with higher level managers, functional managers, customers, industry partners, and teammates
  • Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex problems
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively build and lead teams


Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $140690 - $239140

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
