Job Description This position is contingent upon contract awarded to BAE Systems.
BAE's Secure Communications Program Area has an exciting opportunity for a Program Manager III to lead an important program in the production and delivery of world-class Secure Communications capabilities. Reporting to the Secure Communications Program Area Director, this role will require strong cross functional leadership and customer management to operate in this dynamic environment balancing program execution as well as supporting new business initiatives. Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and the classified nature of this program, the work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems Hudson NH facility 100% of the time.
The charter for the Secure Communications program area is to:
Provide a challenging and supportive cross-functional team culture that supports the development, production, and delivery of the world's most advanced optical mechanical assemblies and electronics, developing tomorrow's technology to enable cutting-edge secure communication space systems for our nation. The Program Manager will have the opportunity to collaborate across the Electronic Systems sector to support the creation, capture, and execute emerging opportunities in Multi-Domain Operations by applying sector-wide payload strengths, mission engineering, and strategic partnering to expand our footprint in the broader LaserComm market. Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $150370 - $255630
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

The primary responsibilities of this role include:
- Provide leadership and management oversight for an important program in the Secure Communications program area assuring the team's Program Area, Product Line and Business Area objectives are met and that the highest level of customer satisfaction is achieved.
- Responsible and accountable to the Program Area and Product Line Management for program execution, profitability, timeliness, and overall success. Makes timely decisions that are cost effective to the company and ensures assigned projects meet financial commitments for orders, sales, profit, and cash.
- Accountable for all aspects of assigned program's execution (cost, schedule, technical performance, quality, inventory management, and customer engagement) throughout all the Life Cycle Management (LCM) phases, ensuring program commitments are met while having the authority to make cogent and timely decisions related to the project.
- Acts as the primary point of contact between BAE Systems and the customer program office, suppliers, and key customer stakeholders.
- Participates in the creation and development of new business strategies and financial plans
- Excellent executive presence and communication skills, including oral presentations and written correspondence.
- Exhibits sound judgment, fact-based decision making and effective negotiations up and down the chain of command with both internal leadership and external customers and suppliers.
- Exhibits exceptional interpersonal skills while interfacing with program team members, company personnel, suppliers, and customers.
- Improves our work environment by promoting teamwork, wellness, workplace flexibility, actively embracing diversity, modeling inclusive behaviors, and increasing leadership engagement.
- Ensures the program teams compliance to BAE Systems Operational Framework and the Operational Assurance Statement. Executes the business in a responsible, safe, secure, and ethical manner while complying with company policies and applicable state, federal and foreign laws.

- Bachelors' degree in a technical field.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of demonstrated experience leading and inspiring diverse teams in a high tempo environment.
- Successful, proven past performance in leading and managing multi-discipline project teams.
- Expertise in project management.
- Very strong presentation and organizational skills.
- Adaptable with a high degree of initiative.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in new business capture.
- Experience in the development and production of high reliability, assemblies, and electronics.
- US Citizen with an active Secret Clearance required, and able to obtain Top Secret/SCI/SAP Clearance.
- Program Management Institute (PMI) certification, Program Management Professional (PMP).
- Master's degree in Engineering, and/or Business Administration.
- Experience in business case development, analysis, and presentation.
- Detailed knowledge of the defense aerospace market.
- Top Secret SCI/SAP Cleared.
