We are currently seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector in our Instrumentation Systems Division.
Responsibilities:
- Verifies that received material meets the requirements specified on the purchase order, drawing(s), and/or specification
- Approves or rejects items and records inspection disposition information.
- Verifies that assembled printed circuit boards, cables, and mechanical assemblies are as specified on the drawing(s), parts lists, or specifications
- Reviews traveler, inspection record, missing material report and closing transfer for completeness and accuracy
- Verifies that assembly workmanship complies with approved workmanship standards and/or specifications
- Maintains files necessary to provide documents proof of assembly, inspection and test of completed assemblies
- Assists assembler and inspectors to identify components/hardware
- Read and interpret assembly drawings, specifications, and standards.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associates Degree preferred
- Minimum one-year technical experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably including visual inspection
- Knowledge in IPC workmanship standards
- Familiarity with rulers, pin gauges, micrometers and calipers
- Basic computer skills required.
- Excellent written and verbal skills are required
- Ability to read/interpret assembly drawings, specifications, and standards
- Ability to recognize component marking and symbols
- Ability work with limited supervision
