ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (TASKS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES MOST IMPORTANT FOR THE JOB)

Load/unload trailers, sort, and stack cases on pallets
Shrink wraps pallet
Work quickly and accurately in a production environment
Keep the work area clean and neat

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS MINIMUM COMPETENCIES REQUIRED FOR JOB PERFORMANCE)

Ability to read, write, comprehend and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals in English. Ability to effectively communicate one-on-one with co-workers and supervisor.
Ability to accurately count. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide simple whole numbers. Ability to perform these operations using units of measure regarding numbers, weight, and volume.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written and oral instructions. Ability to resolve problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to ask for help when a solution is unknown or questionable.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic knowledge of Windows operating systems, follow the command prompts on the screen and use a keyboard/mouse to enter basic information.
Required to stand throughout the entire shift
Use hands to handle, move and feel cases/cartons/boxes.
Reach with hands and arms to move cases/cartons/ boxes
Able to bend, stoop, or kneel as needed throughout the shift
Without strain, must regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds.
Able to adjust focus to read small font accurately on scanner/label/computer screen within 20 inches or less
