Applicants must possess a valid NYS Security Guard Registration Card which must be presented at time of appointment and maintained during employment OR qualify for an exemption per the NYS Division of Licensing Services. This position is subject to the satisfaction of all civil services requirements. We are seeking a vigilant and reliable School Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of students, staff, and school property. The Security Guard will monitor campus activity, enforce school policies, and respond promptly to emergencies, fostering a secure and welcoming learning environment. Key responsibilities include patrolling school premises, controlling access points, monitoring surveillance systems, and addressing unauthorized activities.
