Senior Product Manager

The Opportunity:
As a Product Manager you will drive the functional Roadmap for Veson Nautical's market-leading cloud platform. You will conceive, design, and champion features that deliver functional value to external customers, drive new sales and existing account growth, and align with both the Product and Company strategy.
You will be responsible for the overall product lifecycle, including gathering and prioritizing product requirements from clients and internal stakeholders, effectively performing agile software development activities, and managing the launch of major features and products from beginning to end. You will provide outstanding product support for Veson's Professional Services and Sales teams, and actively participate in Veson Nautical's conferences and other industry events.
Responsibilities:
- Own specific product areas and define roadmaps within those areas that create exceptional value for our customers and the company
- Ruthlessly prioritize their backlogs in line with product and company strategy
- Ensure new product success by managing internal launch teams to drive initial market fit
- Partner with Engineering management and scrum teams to execute on roadmap priorities
- Engage with clients and internal stakeholders to decompose market needs into Initiatives, Epics, and Stories
- Contribute to overall product strategy and vision
- Participate in functional testing and internally advocate for product quality
- Up to 25% of travel
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Product Management with a track record of creating innovative solutions, B2B preferred
- Financial background is a plus
- Working knowledge of general technical principles and cloud-computing concepts
- Familiarity with design patterns for database-backed applications
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Strong analytical capability and comfort with data and reporting tools
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
- Strong communication skills and the willingness to collaborate effectively across departments
- Proven ability to understand and appreciate commercial, functional, and technical perspectives
- Internal drive to take ownership and responsibility
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Ability to handle changing tasks and priorities and adapt quickly
