Full Job Description

Description:System/Software Design Engineer for the F35 Mission Planning Environment (MPE) team responsible for mission planning, ground security and system/software requirements development. Will develop requirements work packages, data item dictionary, trusted file classification specifications, and system/subsystem design document; conducts internal and external collaboration and customer and supplier technical interchange meetings; participates in software product evaluation reviews and software change configuration board; investigates and corrects software product anomaly reports. Reviews Mission Systems, ALIS, Training System, and System Security Engineering domain requirements for impacts to the MPE. Be responsible for ensuring timely MPSE releases schedule.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience in leading teams in Agile Methodologies and utilizing Agile Management Tools such as Jira, Confluence and VersionOne

- Experience in leading teams with Model-Based Systems Engineering UML and SysML in Rose, Rhapsody, Cameo, Enterprise Architect (EA), and sharing tools Teamwork Cloud (TWC) and DoD SAFE

- Technical leadership of Requirements Management utilizing JADE, DOORS, SIMS, CART, and creating documentation in Requirements Work Package (RWP), Requirements Design Package (RDP), Interface Control Documentation (ICD), Interface
Desired Skills:
- F-35 Experience

- F-35 design and requirements experience

- Proven experience with F-35 Mission Planning Products

- Good interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
