Teacher Aide for After-school SOAR Program (2024-2025)

Position Type: 12-month Position, Part-time
Schedule: Monday - Thursday (some nights and weekends as needed)
Hours: 6.25 hours per day / 25 hours per week
Time: 10:45 AM - 5:30 PM with a half-hour unpaid break

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the SOAR Program to assist with program activities.

• Aid in implementing the SOAR curriculum.

• Maintain professionalism with students, families, and staff in a courteous, friendly, helpful, and respectful manner.

• Demonstrate sincere interest and concern for working with youth of all ages.

• Work collaboratively with all levels of staff in a professional manner.

• Perform additional tasks as directed by the Program Director.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary: $15.79-$17.27/hour (based on experience)

• Includes paid vacation, sick, and personal time.

• Participation in New York State retirement plan.
