Container Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DoD Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in Docker and Kubernetes implementation, configuration, and troubleshooting. Additionally, a strong background in automation, preferably with Python, and exposure to cloud platforms is essential.
Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and manage Docker and Kubernetes environments.
Configure and troubleshoot containerized applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python to streamline deployment and operational processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and optimize cloud-based solutions.
Ensure compliance with DoD security standards and protocols.
Provide technical support and guidance to team members on containerization and automation best practices.
Monitor system performance and implement improvements as needed.
Document processes, configurations, and procedures for future reference.

Qualifications:

Able to maintain a secret security clearance
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Significant experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Proficiency in Python for automation tasks.
Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Strong understanding of DoD security requirements and protocols.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Advanced certifications in Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Familiarity with other automation tools and scripting languages.
