Title: PC Network Support Technical 2
Type: Contract
Start Date: 12/9

Pay Rate: $26/hr
Location: Clearfield, UT

Job Description:

  1. Provide technical support for computers; install, troubleshoot, service, and repair personal computers, related PC software, and peripherals
  2. Instruct users in the use of personal computers as the primary controller for manufacturing tools and machinery
  3. Perform root cause analysis for complex issues and document technical solutions
  4. Provide any technical support above and beyond the Tier 1/2 support vendor
  5. Provide Windows systems management
  6. Monitor ticket queues to ensure SLAs are met
  7. Work with software vendors to support third party applications
  8. Provide offnet environment support
  9. Investigate information, network, and communications needs of users


Common Skillsets:

  1. 5+ years of Windows desktop support experience
  2. Strong troubleshooting abilities
  3. Proficiency in Microsoft products such as Windows Desktop OS and Office Product Suite
  4. Familiarity with manufacturing operations, hardware, software, etc.
  5. Experience in Active Directory configuring user and computer accounts
  6. Masters unfamiliar information, tasks, and situations quickly and effectively
  7. Good understanding of networking principles (such as the OSI model)
  8. Proficiency in remote administration and troubleshooting of desktop PCs
  9. Understanding of Enterprise-level storage concepts
  10. Superior customer service and service delivery; maintains composure in difficult situations
  11. Demonstrates personal integrity and high standards

Additional Skillsets:
  1. Experience using ServiceNow in an enterprise environment
  2. 2 years of Windows desktop support experience in an enterprise environment (>1000 end points)
  3. Cross-platform experience (i.e., Windows, Linux, Solaris, OSX, UNIX, etc.)
  4. CompTIA A+, Network+, and/or Security+ certification
  5. Associate or Bachelors degree in relevant discipline
  6. Experience supporting manufacturing operations, hardware, software, etc.
  7. Familiar with OT/ICS segregation principles
  8. Experience with support for OT/ICS environments
