Our 6-month apprenticeship offers a comprehensive and immersive experience for students interested in gaining practical knowledge and skills in the banking industry, with focus on adult learning. Each week, you will be exposed to different leaders and aspects of the line of business. You will have the opportunity to complete tasks that will help you understand the day-to-day operations of a bank and develop a well-rounded skillset. Additionally, you will have the chance to receive guidance from experienced professionals in the field, participate in meetings, and network with other interns and associates. By the end of the 6 months, you will have gained valuable insights, built a solid foundation in banking practices, and potentially set the stage for future career opportunities at First Horizon.
Work schedule and number of hours worked weekly (minimum: 15- 30 Hours) are flexible, within normal business hours, onsite at the corporate main office building
The Intern will learn and assist with the day-to-day duties of the Talent Center of Excellence members, including:
- Building corporate learning programs using adult, instructional design knowledge, specializing in content to help employees grow their career
- Designing campaigns to increase usage of our internal learning video library
- Providing innovative thinking on a video strategy to increase self-generated employee video producers and influencers
- Analyzing results of learning design and campaigns to identify best practices and opportunities
- Conducting surveys and focus groups to collect results
- Researching best practices for implementing learning technology
- Working within a team of learning professionals on projects
- Developing project management and organization skills
- Developing presentations
