This individual will report directly to the VP of Communications and will be a critical partner in managing Aero Comms operations and leading special projects to position the team for success. The successful candidate will have exceptional writing skills, is a strong collaborator, is highly-organized and will be able to manage multiple priorities to drive impactful business results. Basic Qualifications:
* Exceptional writing, editing and oral communications skills.
* Experience in developing and executing integrated strategic communications plans to support key internal and external stakeholders.
* History cultivating and maintaining effective working relationships with colleagues and executive leadership.
* Experience leveraging creative strategies and strong creative instincts to influence leadership decision-making in strategic communication and issues management.
* Experience in a variety of communications disciplines including executive/employee communications, marketing, media, or community relations.
* Background harnessing contemporary communications trends and industry techniques.
* Experience managing high-volume staff work with a strong focus on attention to detail.
* Due to the nature of the position, ability to occasionally work on off-Fridays, weekends, and holidays; travel required.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
