The Wellesley Free Library (WFL) seeks a fearless, flexible and fun Administrative Support Manager to manage the library’s busy office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily financial, payroll, procurement, and administrative operations for the library’s $4M+ budget and 70+ staff across three locations.
- Prepare, monitor, and analyze operating, capital, trust, and grant budgets.
- Administer payroll and personnel records, ensuring compliance with Town policies and labor regulations.
- Oversee meeting room reservations, payment and rental systems for 13 rooms.
- Support the Board of Library Trustees, including meeting postings and minute preparation.
- Supervise office routines, volunteers, and temporary staff.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Business Management, or related field.
- 5+ years of administrative and financial experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with MUNIS, KRONOS, and Stripe preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred: MBA/MPA, and knowledge of library operations or municipal finance
Anticipated salary range: $73,500- $75,000 DOQ.
Anticipated start date: July 1, 2025
