Job Description:

Apex Systems is seeking a dynamic and experienced Global Project Manager for a fully remote contract opportunity with a large, international pharmaceutical and medical diagnostics company. The Global Project Manager will lead and oversee a range of projects in the Personalized Healthcare sector. This role involves managing projects of varying complexity, ensuring timely delivery, and fostering collaboration across multiple teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management within regulated environments, particularly in medical diagnostics or pharmaceuticals.
Responsibilities:

• Project Management:Lead all aspects of project management from initiation to delivery, including timeline assembly, resource allocation, and schedule development.
• Stakeholder Engagement:Interface with all areas affected by or supporting the project, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
• Risk and Quality Management:Implement project risk management strategies, conduct critical path analysis, and ensure quality outcomes across all projects.
• Integrated Planning:Create and maintain integrated project plans using Project & Portfolio Management tools, identifying gaps and proposing solutions to keep projects on track.
• Budget Oversight:Monitor project budgets and spending, ensuring alignment with financial goals.
• Meeting Coordination:Organize and manage project milestone reviews and meetings, including agenda setting and minute-taking.
• Continuous Improvement:Foster a culture of continuous improvement by sharing knowledge and best practices within project teams.
• Additional Duties:Perform other related tasks as assigned to support project objectives.

• Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, Agile, Scrum Master, or SAFe) preferred.
  • Master's degree is a plus.
• Experience:
  • 3-5 years of project management experience in product development or relevant fields.
  • Experience in FDA-regulated environments and Companion Diagnostics (CDx) programs is highly desirable.
  • Proven track record in co-development environments with third-party partners or external customers.
• Skills:
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and coordination skills for project-related activities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced stakeholder management and facilitation skills, particularly in complex team settings.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, Planisware, or Smartsheet.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Ability to manage ambitious project milestones and escalate issues effectively.
